The Band rehearses twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at The Old School, Abberley Avenue, Areley Kings.

The band is currently graded Second Section nationally for 2008 and in the past few years the band have qualified for and represented the Midlands at the National Finals in Dundee & Harrogate for the Second Section.

The band has a very friendly atmosphere and most players congregate in a pub somewhere after rehearsals on a Tuesday & Thursday night for the odd pint or two. We are always keen to welcome new players of a good standard and so if you would like more details then please email our band manager. If you would like to book the band then please contact our secretary on email .

PLAYERS REQUIRED: The band has welcomed many brass players & percussionists over the last 3 years to "help out" at concerts and contests, but the band would like to invite people to join the band permanently. The band are particularly looking for back row cornets and percussionists (kit and tuned), but welcome applications from any instrument. If you know anyone or are interested then please email the band manager

WET AGAIN: The band are definitely jinxed with outdoor concerts this year. Claines British Legion asked the band to play at their 60th anniversary event.....but it rained and rained and rained!

Front Row Cornets and Mike West desperately trying to avoid getting wet by rescuing a collapsing gazebo! The joys of banding!
